PitchScore Chosen as Scoring Partner for 2021 GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit
PitchScore, a national pitch database platform, will deliver pre-competition pitch analysis to founders, live audience scoring, and start up promotion on Canada’s National PitchMap.
Toronto, Ontario January 7, 2021 – PitchScore Inc. (www.pitchscore.com) announced today that it has been chosen by the Georgian Angels Network (“GAN”) as the pitch scoring platform for the upcoming GAN Angel Investing Winter Summit taking place on January 14, 2021.
The Winter Summit is an annual angel investing conference hosted by GAN and this year is presented in partnership with the Niagara Angel Network, York Angels and the Capital Angel Network. The virtual event will feature a full day of workshops, investee updates and start-up pitches.
This is the second year that the PitchScore platform has been chosen to capture audience evaluations of start-up pitches. Founders pitching at the conference will receive a full PitchScore analysis report prior to the event and will appear on Canada’s National PitchMap, a national database of great companies and resource for angel and other funder groups.
PitchScore was founded in 2019 by a group of angel investors interested in tracking the effectiveness of start-up pitches and providing better feedback to presenting founders. Using 10000 data points from hundreds of angels and company pitches, PitchScore has developed algorithms that predict investor interest and funding using a standardized set of evaluation factors.
Today, PitchScore is a platform used by founders, accelerators, funder groups and pitch events to evaluate pitches, collect feedback, engage audiences, and connect investors with pre-screened start-ups on Canada’s national PitchMap.
